I Was Elected VP Education for Saratoga Toastmasters

This June, I was elected the next Vice President Education for Saratoga Toastmasters. This is the second most important role in a Toastmasters club, right after the President. (That means I'll have to fill in for the President if she's gone!)

I did have a little competition this time, but she was encouraged to bow out before the actual elections.

The VP Education is in charge of encouraging everyone in the club to set and meet their self-improvement goals. This involves assigning roles for each meeting in advance, keeping track of members' progress toward awards, and assigning mentors to new members. I regard it as a challenge to live up to our past VP Education's standards.
