Beautiful Places in the Bay Area

UC Santa Cruz has a gorgeous view of the ocean, trees to hike through, and grassy hillsides (which are great for sports and burrowing owls).

I decided to go to UC Santa Cruz long before I knew what my major would be just for the campus, and I loved every minute of the years I spent there. Even if you never plan to go, I encourage you to find an excuse to visit.

To get to UC Santa Cruz, take Mission Street (From 17, take the exit Highway 1 North to Halfmoon Bay) to Bay Street and make a right. You should be going up the hill. UC Santa Cruz is at the top.
