We Got A Cat!

After years of owning dogs and swearing off cats for medical reasons (allergies), my Mom and brother came home with a new kitty and convinced us all we needed to adopt her.

She's a little scrawny and terribly bossy with her "big brother," Sid. (Right now, she's hiding from him in the bathroom.) I named her Storm after her gray fur and loud way of tromping around the house. She's pretty wild and prefers playing to petting - especially if it involves something dangling, like feathers.

After living with us for a few months, she's taken to rotating whom she sleeps with, wearing her tail over her back like Sid, and scratching doors to be let out.

Storm also loves Friskies more than anything. My Mom won't feed her Friskies, since she thinks they're kitty junk food, but she did get a small box for Christmas. Every day, she gets a few Friskies with her breakfast and it makes her very happy!

I think she'll be upset if she runs out of Friskies and my Mom won't buy her more treats. The only thing she likes better is Liver.
