I'm the New President of Saratoga Toastmasters

After a short stint as the Vice President Public Relations and a year as the Vice President Education, I was elected the new President of Saratoga Toastmasters last May.

I was inducted as the new President on June 30th, and started my duties immediately by concluding the meeting. You wouldn't think that would be scary, but it was!

On Tuesday, July 10, 2001 I attended officer training. It wasn't nearly as helpful as the last three training sessions I attended. I think it's harder to explain to Presidents what they have to do. (It's harder to explain how to get other people to do their jobs than how to actually do something specific.)

I look forward to the next six months and hope I can continue to make Saratoga Toastmasters a better club.
